چکیده
With the enlarging scale of doubly-fed induction generators (DFIGs) connected to power systems, it is important analyze influence a short-circuit current system relay protection. Due correct evaluation protection operation characteristics, DFIG needs be calculated accurately. But research on based following assumption: rotor excitation zero after crowbar put, and its dynamic process ignored. This will bring errors calculation results. paper takes into account dynamics by studying mechanism potential transient change DFIG. The stator flux linkage in event three-phase accurately calculated, an improved RMS method wind turbine short circuit proposed. A physical experiment platform with actual controller fan established, RTDS. It can seen from that proposed this more accurate than those methods ignore process. study lays foundation for further characteristics.

Study on PI Parameters Dynamic Tuning Based on Ant Colony Algorithm for Doubly-fed Wind Turbines
For the shortcoming that the PI controller parameters can’t been dynamic tuning in constant voltage control system of doubly-fed wind turbines, a PI controller parameters dynamic tuning strategy based on the ant colony optimization (ACO) algorithm is presented. This strategy makes the two parameters in PI controller as the ant of the ant colony, the controlled absolute error integral function t...
متن کاملRotor Design for Diffuser Augmented Wind Turbines
Diffuser augmented wind turbines (DAWTs) can increase mass flow through the rotor substantially, but have often failed to fulfill expectations. We address high-performance diffusers, and investigate the design requirements for a DAWT rotor to efficiently convert the available energy to shaft energy. Several factors can induce wake stall scenarios causing significant energy loss. The causality b...

متن کاملProportional-Resonant Control of Doubly-Fed Induction Generator Wind Turbines for Low-Voltage Ride-Through Enhancement
A novel control strategy is proposed in this paper for the rotor side converter (RSC) of doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG)-based wind power generation systems. It is supposed to enhance the low-voltage ride-through (LVRT) capability of DFIGs during great-level grid voltage dips. The strategy consists of a proportional-resonant (PR) controller and auxiliary PR controllers. The auxiliary cont...
